Web Design
How do we translate complex astrophysical concepts into an intuitive digital experience without losing structural clarity?
This is a responsive web and mobile experience designed to explain the universe’s origins through interactive visuals and dynamic compositions.
The project focuses on bridging the gap between advanced scientific data and user experience, transforming complex astrophysical theories into an accessible and visually engaging narrative for a broader audience.
Tools: Xd, Photoshop
Problem
Archival Integration: I needed to source and utilize diverse raw imagery, including astronomical instruments and portraits of scientists. The challenge was to integrate these assets into a cohesive and eye-catching visual language.
Data Abstraction & Engagement: The vast amount of heavy scientific information made it difficult to keep general audiences interested. The challenge was to design intuitive interactions that could captivate users without a science background, making abstract data user-friendly.
Solution
Curated Visual System: I discovered and recontextualized existing scientific elements through a refined graphic framework. By applying systematic grid layouts and modern typography, I elevated raw archival imagery into high-impact digital components.
User-Centric Interactions: I established a structured chronological flow using scroll-triggered animations and interactive timelines. This approach allowed users to digest dense information at their own pace, making the topic approachable.
